Fun Festival Bohemian Fashion.... Mason & Ivy

I am so loving Boho Fashion these days.  Must be my hippie mother's influence.  No matter how hard I fight it.  Mason and Ivy is an adorable online shop based in good old Texas. Bohemian Gypsy style is abundant in their collection.

Decorate a Small Corner Wall with Inexpensive Plates

If you have a small super visible corner like this one in my dining room, decorating with plates is a "Classy" option.  After pinning numerous ideas on Pinterest, I went with this cascading arrangement.  The best thing about this is the price of the plates themselves.  It took some time and bargain hunting to find these.  Most of them are from Target clearance.  I scored them for $1 - $3 each and most of them are plastic.  NO Breakage!  I think I found a couple at the Thrift store as well for a buck or two.  This wall was decorated for less than $20!  Classy-fi It!

How to make salt dough Witch Fingers.

I make these witch fingers every year when I pass out invites to my Halloween Bash.  It's so fun to reimagine them each year.  Here is a look at some of my collection.

Have fun creating your own Witchy Poo Fingers.  Here is the link to Morton Salt Dough Handbook. You will find the recipe you need to follow for perfect dough.  I use the baking method because I am too impatient to wait.
THEY MUST BE HARDENED BEFORE YOU DECORATE THEM!

Halloween Boo-tiful Bannister

I was so excited to find Creepy Fabric at Dollar Tree, that store really pulled through for me this year.  I'm seriously thinking of clearing them out of the creepy fabric.  Then I made this cute garland out of scrapbook paper, string and printed letters.  Classy-fi your Boo Bannister for less than $7.00!

Budget Wall Decor, Landscape Memories

Decorating Walls around your flat screen can be tricky.  I wanted a clean look here and I knew I wanted multiple images.  I had plenty of family on display in this room and I still wanted the wall to tell a story.  Then a friend posted a fantastic lanscape image of a lake I used to live by on Facebook and this idea was born.  Frame beautiful landscapes of places you used to live or favorite places you've visited.  We dont travel much but we sure have moved alot and our children were born in different cities.  So I went online and found some fantastic landscapes that were taken by amateur photographers.  I sent emails and gained permission to print them.  I was fortunate enough to get most of them all for free.  One is taken by my dad and I purchased a few of them on istock.com for a few bucks each.

I found these 11x14 frames at the Dollar store and found mattes for a buck each at The Christmas Tree Shops.  Wal Mart had the exact same frames for $3.00 with mattes.  I picked up the prints 8x10 and 5x7 at Wal Mart for less than $3.00 each.  So I Classy-fied an entire wall for less than $50.00. It's a great conversation display full of memories.  I love it when I can tell a story in my home decor without breaking the bank!!
